Grand Re-Opening Success
SPRINGFIELD, IL – The grand re-opening of the Hooters® in Springfield, Illinois was a huge success last Friday. Within minutes of re-opening the doors after being closed for a full week, the place was full of anxious, curious customers.
With some hard work and a little bit of luck, the weather remained clear and the project wrapped up just in time for the highly anticipated UFC 205 event scheduled for Saturday night.
A special shout-out to Superintendents Bill and Tom of Rand* Construction for keeping the project running smooth through the entire process as well as a big thank you to the local Sherwin-Williams for getting material and supplies out in a timely fashion.

Jimmy Johns Almost Ready
QUINCY, IL – The grand opening of the new Jimmy Johns located at 4500 Broadway Blvd. in Quincy, Illinois is fast approaching. Our team spent the past weekend wrapping up the prep and painting scope of work in order to meet the impending deadline.
Thanks to Sam and Thomas, a couple of superintendents on the job for ACT Construction, the project ran smooth from start to finish.

TERRA HAUTE, IN – Yesterday’s trip to Terra Haute, Indiana proved to be well worth it as talks with our host, ThompsonThrift, was informative and helped solidify a few remaining questions between our two companies.
After our lunch meeting, we were given the grand tour of their corporate office – allowing us to meet several new staff members in the process.
With our business complete, the main thought we had while heading back to St. Louis was the need to incorporate a fitness and steam room area at our office as well.
A special thanks to Aaron for setting everything up yesterday…much appreciated!

Sherwin-Williams Pro Show 2017
ST. LOUIS, MO – The 2017 Sherwin-Williams Pro Show as a big hit on Thursday.
Held at Busch Stadium, painting contractors from all over the region came out to preview the latest technology from Sherwin-Williams, 3m, Graco, Titan and several other national companies associated with Sherwin-Williams.
While the event landed on a busy Thursday, we were able to swing by and take advantage of several rebates offered by both 3M and Sherwin-Williams.
Along with the rebates, give-away items and sales, the food was as good as ever – not too many things beat a stadium brat and burger on a sunny Missouri afternoon.
A special thank you to all the sales reps who answered questions all day and congratulations to Sherwin-Williams for another successful Pro Show…already looking forward to next year!

FARMINGTON, MO – In 2016, Menard, Inc. selected General Contractor Poettker Construction for the ground-up construction of their new 208,000 square foot Menards Store and 42,000 square foot Warehouse located in Farmington, Missouri.
A long-time repeat client, Poettker Construction selected Herbster Hellweg® Painting Co, Inc. to complete the painting scope of the project.
Construction began in January of 2016 and due to a great effort by all trades involved, the project wrapped in November of 2016.
